Gua Bao Pork Belly Bun

slow cooked, pulled apart
Bao Buns

Frozen Bao Buns
about 8 or make your own if you're keen
Glazing Sauce

Vegetable Oil

Salt & Pepper

Ginger
minced

Red Chilli
finely chopped, use less if you dont like too spicy

Honey

Brown Sugar

Soy Sauce
Use dark or thick sweet

Lemon Grass paste
Toppings

bunch
Coriander
small bunch fresh roughly torn

Red Chilli
sliced to thin strips, discard seeds

Spring Onions
Sliced in thin strips

Sesame Seeds

Cashew Nuts
toasted & chopped
Instructions
Slow cook the pork belly. I'm not detailing the steps here, just do it how you prefer.
Glazing Sauce
Add all the glaze ingredients to a small saucepan and simmer gently until it is slightly thickened. Set aside.
Bao Buns
Steam thawed or frozen buns according to packet directions
Assembly
Add some pork belly to the bao buns and thena dd some sauce, top with the toppings. Serve immediately and enjoy.
