Bad Driving from China Travel Service (NZ) Ltd

In my quest to name and shame drivers who put other road users at risk here is another short video.

This time it’s a bus driver from China Travel Service (NZ) Ltd who clearly thinks cycle lanes are for busses. Actually they are not and it is illegal for any vehicle to drive in a cycle lane.

This bus driver ran me off the road onto the kerb as I was alongside the bus, then to add insult he gave me the finger when I pulled alongside the door and pointed at my cycle camera. He may not be so rude now the footage has been passed to the Police for prosecution.

Trademark Paving Incident

As a cyclist I regularly see incidents involving shocking driving from vehicle drivers. I understand that it’s often debatable who is at fault so I have a dashcam mounted on my bike to record what happened.

On my ride home last night I almost go hit by the driver of a small truck owned by Trademark Paving which is a subsidiary of Trademark Construction. Had I not braked hard I could well have ridden into the trailer. Anyway here’s the video clip Continue reading

Cycling Courses

I’m under no illusion that it’s me but it’s all part of the fun.   Continue reading

Roundabout Indicator Madness

As I cycle to work regularly I getting rather annoyed at the number of people who don’t know how to indicate properly at roundabouts. I’ve had two recent incidents where I’ve almost been hit by drivers doing something different to what they indicated they were going to do.

If you are going straight through, you DON’T indicate a right turn then suddenly flip the indicator to indicate a left turn. ITS WRONG AND CONFUSES OTHERS.

single-roundabout-straight Continue reading
